The coveted '05 Mollydookers are once again available but in extreme limited quantities. The 2005 vintage sky rocketed Mollydooker into wine cult fame. It was the very first release for Sparky and Sara Marquis and they accomplished high praise and recognition from critics like Robert Parker receiving 99pts for the '05 Carnival of Love.  Be one of the lucky ones and get one before they disappear.

Coming Soon... Maker's Mark 46

Maker's Mark 46 is the first and only new product ever produced by Maker's Mark.  Yes, you may have seen the VIP square bottle or various wax colors but the bourbon is still the original Maker's Mark.  What makes the 46 different?  The bourbon barrel..46 is the project number assigned by Brad Boswell, owner of the cooperage that constructs the barrels for Maker's Mark.  It's the first distillery to use the 'stave process' which is normally used at wineries.  Is it safe to assume the taste profile will be a more vanilla and toasty oak style. We'll have to wait and see...

Coming soon to America....

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of one of my favorite whiskies, Suntory Hibiki.  Suntory all ready has a presence in the United States with their Yamazaki single malts but not the Hibiki blended whiskey.  The Hibiki 12 year will be the first to make it's US debut and we can't wait!!

Hello Kitty Wines are IN!!
Now available the Pinot Nero white and the Pinot Nero red

UPDATE (March 17, 2010)!! Critics have spoken and this is what they have to say about the Hello Kitty wines...

"The family-run Tenimenti Castelrotto or "Torti" vineyards, founded in 1910, produces the wine in the Lombardy region, which is known for the cultivation of the Pinot Noir grape.

They are producing four wines for Hello Kitty, including the Hello Kitty Sweet Pink, which is a sparkling demi-sec and not nearly as sweet as Hello Kitty herself. The Connoisseurs found it on the dry side, said it poured well and had a nice rose coloring. The 375 ml bottle has a heart-shaped neck and a gold heart label embedded within the glass. Most uncharitably, the Connoisseurs wrote: "Something about Hello Kitty just makes me think of the dump truck load of saccharine that it takes to give a lab rat cancer. The wine is actually quite pleasant, with hints of red fruits and a nice floral bouquet. It is not cloying at all, as some sweet sparklers can be." I think The Connoisseurs need to use their indoor voices when it comes to Hello Kitty. Her fans have some mighty sharp claws.

Windsor said the wine has been well-received by knowledegable wine drinkers and reviewers and he believes it will appeal to wine enthusiasts beyond the Hello Kitty brand's fan base. In other words, it's one cup of sweet milk regardless of the feline on the label."
